COMPANY BIOs: barry hanks

Barry has been actively involved with the high-tech electronics manufacturing industry for over twenty-five years, and has held management and executive positions in companies ranging from small start-up ventures to large, multi-national corporations.  Over a twelve-year period, Barry was responsible for establishing the Finance/Customs/M.I.S. departments in new manufacturing facilities in Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, and Ireland, and was instrumental in the establishment of procurement and logistics centers in Hong Kong and the Netherlands.  He earned both his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and his MBA from San Jose State University.

Since joining Pinnacle Intertech in 1995, Barry has expanded his skill set to include the design and creation of custom applications for information processing, data analysis, reporting, and productivity enhancement.  These have been employed in such diverse areas as employee compensation calculations, inventory tracking, asset management, sales forecasting, manufacturing production allocation, material requirements planning, R&D project reports, and financial reporting & forecasting.  For the past several years, Barry has been actively involved in assisting client companies in the area of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
